Our final game of the night featured Balotelitubbies against Russla’s Hustlers. It was the Tubbies who led 2-0 at the break with goals from Toby Blythen and youngster Jason O Toole. However, the Hustlers flipped the tables on their opponents after the break as goals by Sam Ladbury and Charlie Macildowie levelled the scores. Chris Keay then made it 3-2 as the Tubbies regained the lead. But James Lord equalised for Russla’s before Sam Ladbury scored again. Lord then got his 2nd to give Russla’s a 5-3 lead with minutes remaining. The Tubbies were stunned but they capitalised on a defensive error to score through David Calvert. Russla’s hung on the claim the narrow 5-4 win in a hugely entertaining match. The wins for Hibs and Russla’s saw them both move within 4 points of Balotelitubbies and Lost Boys as the fight for top places continue. We look forward to next week’s matches!
