Hibs Romp To Record Win In One-Sided Game

Hibernians Futsal Club played against Red Indians in the first match on Pitch 4, Red Indians were really struggling for numbers at the start of the match, they had the bare minimum of 3 players to start and more followed as the game wore on. Hibernians took the lead but were surprised by the 3 men Red Indians with an equaliser, thereafter, it was one-way traffic as expected under the circumstances. Hibernians emerged 19-2 winners, the highest scoreline recorded by a team in the league and Hibernian's Connor Harrison scored 12 goals in a game, the most a player has scored in a league game.

The match that was going on concurrently on the other pitch was between Lost Boys FC and Bone Soup FT, two teams that are in the upper echelons of the league. Bone Soup produced some very good futsal on the night in an assured display, beating their older rivals, Lost Boys 6-3 to inflict the first defeat onto their opponents. Both teams are now level on points with Bone Soup on superior goal difference.

The subsequent match between the carefree Russla's Hustlers team who really look like they are enjoying every match regardless of results and Balotelitubbies was a tight contest. It was 1-1 at half-time but the goals flowed a bit more freely in the second half. It was eventually edged by Balotellitubbies 4-3, maintaining their 100% start to the season, having played a game less than the Bone Soup and Lost Boys above them.

FC Schlid played against Marriedman FC in the concurrent match. FC Schlid played calmly and simply to take advantage of every opportunity created to take a 5-0 lead into the half-time break. In the second half, it was far more even as both teams drew 2-2, won 7-2 by FC Schlid in the end.
